First love.

This is why I love reading, I could relate my whole life into an article I browsed through on the internet. Just a brief look of this beautifully written article could change the entire perception of me towards "cheating" :

No one has ever been so keenly aware of their hearts' ability to produce physical pain than someone who's been cheated on. Only someone who's experienced true heartache and knows the pain that runs through the body, up to the head, where traces of it leak out through the eyes, bubbling over, pouring out the nose and running back into their mouths, forcing them to taste their sorrow all over again.
Real heartbreak like this, the kind that makes you feel like the air has been sucked out of you and the only position your body can muster is a ball on the floor, changes you. Like broken bone, it heals over time, but the scars of it never fade. We are reminded of this pain every time we look down, every time we think of the traitors who let us bleed out on the ground in front of them. Our wounds may heal, but we will never forget. But just because you can't forget does not mean you can't move on. While cheating may feel like it just about killed you, it;s as Friedrich Nietzsche, then Kayne West, famously quoted,
"That which does not kill us only makes us stronger."
And this is not some old adage to make you feel better, it's the truth. When the heart breaks that way, shatters into a million pieces, then reforms slowly, over time, it's coming back stronger. You may be bedridden for months, think about it for years, but one day, you will feel better and your heart will be better for it.
Only those who have experienced deep, emotional pain can evolve into stronger, more stable people. Because it takes real, true heartbreak to teach us. Only those who have experienced the pain of it can write about it, sing about it and understand it. It opens up an entire portal we never understood before.
It creates empathy for others who will go on to feel that same pain. It shows us another side, admits us to another group, the group of the broken-hearted. Only after being cheated on do we understand what all those songs are about.
Only after experiencing real heartache do we understand what all those sad scenes in movies finally mean. Only after the pain of loss we can understand the pain of others. While you should  never wish infidelity on yourself, you also should not bow to it. Because like any difficult trauma in life, there are lessons to be learned.
Being cheated on may just the best thing that can ever happen to you because it teaches you more than most people learn in a lifetime.

People might not always tell you how they feel, but they'll always show you.

You can't rely on words. Words can be as empty as the people who hold them. A brutal life lesson of being cheated on includes the realization that people lie. People deceive. People cheat. Just because people say they love you, it doesn't mean they actually mean it.
It's only through actions that we can gauge the true motives and feelings of others. Learning to judge others on how they act, rather than what they say, will save you years of misinterpretation and living like you're in a continual game of Pictionary.

Sometimes, fate makes the best decisions for us.

You may have loved that person, but that does not mean you were meant to be with him or her. While no one wishes to be cheated on, sometimes it's necessary course of action in a relationship that would not end any other way. It was fate that you caught them or fate you found out, and sometimes, being cheated on teaches you that things happen for a reason; in the end, there's really nothing you can do. Everything happens for a reason and because you could not see the kind of people they were, fate showed you instead.

The first person you need to love in life is yourself.

Once you've experienced the pain someone can inflict on you and the loss that comes with wrapping your love in someone else before your own, you understand the necessity of loving yourself before anyone else. There's no way you can get over the pain of losing someone you love - or thought you loved - unless you have yourself to go back to.
We need our own love more than anyone else's and being cheated on brutally teaches us that, at the end of the day, the most important relationship we should have is the one we have with ourselves.

Always be prepared for the worst and never get too comfortable.

While you shouldn't keep yourself guarded from experiencing the joys of a new relationship, you should always hold the reminder that people do have the power to hurt you. Love is, many times, a game. Playing smartly and making sure you're not going in completely vulnerable is important. It's as important to maintain your own feelings as it is to share them with someone.

You can (and will) get over pain.

That initial breakdown, the first days, weeks and months, make it seem like this pain has the power to kill you. You feel like any moment your heart will just stop all together and your tears will drown you and your sobs will choke you.  You feel like your life will never be the same again, that you will carry this pain with you forever.  But slowly, over time, you begin to heal and with that healing comes the understanding that nothing is forever, not even your pain.

Trust is something that people must earn.

We grew up believing that people are inherently good until we're forced to see the bad. It's not until people have done us wrong that we understand not everyone is to be trusted. Trust is something the unscathed give away freely, but only those who have felt the pain of betrayal know that trust is something to be earned.
We fragile; letting someone into our small, breakable worlds should not come with a free entrance.

Maybe He wanted to grant me something valuable to keep. But I guess this is more than just valuable. "F" is more than just a boyfriend. He is life, my guardian angel.

One day, someone showed up and changed it all. This person is beyond captivating in my eyes. His enchanting personality, I can never think straight and I have lost counted of how much I've acted like an idiot every time he looked into my eyes. My biggest weakness of all. Those old wonderful days, of us wanting to know each other more and more and it was never enough. It was very greedy of us to always have the desire of wanting to explore every inch of each others' lives. We told each other about our first loves and I have to admit that I was slightly jealous knowing how amazing that girl could be, of being his first love. But as I grow older I'm starting to think, why do I have to be jealous of her? Why does he have to be jealous of him? He has fixed me since the day one, he proved me wrong. He has shown me of how much I deserve better and he treats me still, like how I have always wanted a man to be.
It does not matter who your first love is. It's about who fix your broken heart and share their strengths in order to make you happy again. I feel alive. After being killed. With this being said, it's an honour for me to reward FB my whole heart, my soul and care. Thank you. I love you.

The chosen murderer

I guess they were right.
Love is blind. Love is beautiful. Love is amazing. Love shines brighter than the moon at 2am. Love grows stronger than the rock.

They were always right, including when they say:
High expectations and overly attached to someone can mentally destroy you.
Books, movies and all those relationship goals we have been seeing all over the social sites.

There goes my most imperfect boyfriend,

Let's create our own movie with us as the only characters
Let them read of how our little fights could be something they envy
Let them ladies wish you were theirs
Let them old lovely couples pray for our destiny
So one day they'll see
How they wish they have done something like we do today
I promise I will let them see,
Of how I have enjoyed these little stairs we climb

We did it together
We did it from the start and all you had was nothing
But not a single smile was taken away

I would not mind for you to yell at me, day and night.
I know I will definitely go against you,
But then again I would not mind.
We are a team.

I would not mind answering to the exact same question all over again.
I would not mind shedding tears for the pain you lend me.

I guess we both notice how I can be so unpredictable at times
Not agreeing a single thing you said, not talking to you without a solid reason
Do you remember all those silly thoughts I have on you?
Yours on me?

How can you bear when I nag?
How can I ever follow everything your heart desires even sometimes
They are all out of mind
Respect.
The key of our castle.

But hey,
Where is the trust we need? Where is the faith of us towards each other?
I wish I could dig them somewhere around
But how can I, for they did not even buried?

Take my hand. Let's start new.
Take my hand, bring me with you.
For this infinity is ours.
As we have made a deal, to not die alone but together.

Then and now, I beg you. Kill me.
But hush, don't let them see.
Kill me,
with your love.

The missing reminder

"Do not step on the broken glass! You'll cut your feet."
"Do not play in the middle of the road! You might get into an accident."
"Do not play on the edge of the slope! You'll slip and fall."
"Do not go over the shore! You don't wanna get drown, do you?"
"Carefully holding the knife, you might get bleed"
"It's too hot outside. Stay at home."
"Do not play in the dark. Anything might get to you"

Hey,
As people have been saying, grades don't measure intelligence and age doesn't define maturity.
You have missed something. Pain and love, both don't choose men to be assassinated.

Hey, you forgot to remind me something.
But here's a little something.
I dare you to listen and read
That the words are white, but promises are grey. Misery is black but I chose red.
For all the things you have done
And that my heart turns into a stone.
Come and lay with me
Enjoy these little cuts you made me.
I don't know you anymore. That makes me sad.
But how could you, for this feeling of an agony,
Of not knowing myself entirely.

Don't worry. Broken glasses don't scare this tiny little girl anymore. As I grew, nothing will never be compared with all the cuts and scars I had on my wrist.

Don't worry, accidentally being in love with a person like him is way more suffocating.

Don't worry, I have fallen harder than anything could possibly be.

Don't worry, I have drowned in my thoughts and in silence, it's killing me. Caused by the one who promised me forever. But I guess forever was not long enough.

Don't worry my beautiful moon, I have never told anyone how your tongue is the sharpest of all.

Don't worry, I have turned the coldest. Nothing can fix me.

Don't worry, darkness deserves an honor. For showing me that as the time passes, everyone leaves and sadly, my shadow too.
