What makes you a saint? What makes you religious?

According to the post title given: What makes you a pious? Saint? Religious?
-Knowledges
-Reverence
-The worship of Allah s.w.t

But what do we people see and consider a pious?
-Prayer beads
-Robe
-15 inches of beard
-Turban

"He wears shorts. Plain white t-shirt and slippers. He's reaching 60th soon, doesn't he scared of death?"
"MasyaAllah. He wears robe, turban, long beards and there are prayer beads winding his neck. He must be very religious"
"She's a prostitute. She's dragging herself to Hell"
"Look at her. She looks good in hijab. She must be nice and pious"

I may not a perfect covered woman, I may not a saint, but I believe in hidayah Allah S.W.T and I'm still doing my research on the beauty of Islam. I feel sorry for the narrow-minded muslims who love to make a quick assumption on their brothers and sisters. I thought hidayah Allah S.W.T is His secret that none of his creatures knows?

You can wear robe, turban or whatever type of clothes that you like. You can wear shorts, t-shirt, slippers or whatever suits your style.
BUT: No one has the right to apply Allah's role in judging.

Yes. Men look good in robe. Alhamdulillah, they are willing to practice our prophet, Nabi Muhammad s.a.w's sunnah. As in growing beards, etc. But don't simply consider them a saint until you get to sit and treasure their knowledge of Islam. Because without we realising it, most of ajaran sesat that has been so pervasive nowadays are all caused by that one piece of clothing.

Imagine yourself in this situation:
You are at your favorite coffee shop, sitting alone and suddenly there are 2 men came by and placed themselves in front of you. One with robe and one with t-shirt. One with a turban on his head and one is bald. One with prayers beads winding his hand and one with a mobile phone. Out of nowhere, they're debating with one another about hadith Rasulullah. Question yourself:
Who would you choose to be on their side? I bet we all know what the answer would be.

Motive? I once had a grandpa. He loved wearing jeans, t-shirt and once smoked. He told me good stories about being a good muslim too. But he did not do that avowedly. He often did that when we were having our dinner, when we were having our brief talk at pasar pagi in Kelantan, when we were together watching hindustani movies. He often reminded me of Allah. Because why? His knowledge or we Malay say "Ilmu di dada". My dear muslim brothers and sisters, as much as I don't want you to simply consider one an alim ulama, that's how as much as I don't want you to make an assumption on people like my late grandpa. It's not about your appereance and how you perform yourself to the world. It's about knowledge. Knowledge has no boundary and it is meant for everyone in this world. It's about how you worship Allah S.W.T. It's about how you treat other people. How you respect all of His creatures that is not only human. It's about your preparation for the Akhirat.

These are hadiths that I searched from www.islam.gov.my. You can refer to the link for more useful infos.

Rasulullah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Verily, Allah s.w.t. has asserted religion into a person, thus, poor is the religion unless with high and good morals. Do you beautify your religion with the two virtues?”
